Sourcing & Takedown Policy

How we source headlines, and how to request removal.

Source: Headlines on BreakingNow 9 are aggregated from publicly available news feeds via the MediaStack news API, keyword-filtered to Florida, Miami, Tampa, Orlando, and Jacksonville.

What we display: We display the headline, a short excerpt, thumbnail, timestamp, category, and the originating outlet's name. Each item links to the original article.

What we do NOT do: We do not republish, mirror, or modify the body of any source article.

Copyright: All content remains the property of its respective publisher.

Takedown — 48-hour guarantee: If you are a rights holder who believes content should be removed, submit a request through our contact form. We will remove cited content within 48 hours.

Robots & rate limits: We fetch news data no more than once per cache window (cached server-side), use a clearly identifying BreakingNow9/1.0 User-Agent, and honor any Retry-After, 429, or removal signal from the underlying publishers' servers.
